Not much they can do with no evidence but that does suck 🤦🏼‍♀️

Yeah cops won’t do anything unless there is proof. It sucks but that’s how the law works unfortunately. If he’s being threatened where he thinks his life is being threatened then I’d definitely go to the police & file an restraining order or you could request for a parol car outside your house. Every department is different though, usually for small towns they’ll do it.

@jroe, yeah not there aren’t doing their jobs. The apartments should get that fix or go to court because it’s the not first time it was happened. People get hurt outside and they have cameras but it none work it’s fucking stupid.. everyone in the complex should be informed and the cops should check into the people that are always trying to pick fights with my friends group over little kid shit

@xomarylee, is there a way to talk to your landlord about the cameras? If I were you I would start a petition to get the cameras fixed

@jroe, his ** it’s a huge complex maybe 3-4 build with many people and they said if they call the cops because of cameras issues that they will get kicked out.

@jroe, exactly!! I’m beyond pissed. All I know if they people who did it will be found with out without cops and this problem will get situated. They won’t keep getting away with things.

They cannot do anything without solid evidence just because he was fighting with people that doesn’t give the police enough to go investigating people.

It might be obvious to you guys that it was them but that doesn’t meet the legal threshold to investigate or charge anyone. That’s too bad about your friend’s car though.
