@kaguirre, they’re easily distracted at that age. It takes some time to get their attention. My two year old doesn’t always look at me when i call him because he’s ignoring me lol. Definitely bring it up to his doctor at a check up. But no need to worry
My 18 months old doesn't talk either. And sometimes I have to call him 5 times to look at me or come to me but I read that's because the information sometimes just doesn't come straight away to their brain and near more time. I wouldn't worry too much at this stage. In my family kids started talking after 2, but then they could not stop ^^

@kaguirre, don’t worry. Some babies pick up language late, but then quickly. Just work with him a little everyday. He will get it

Have you had 18 month checkup yet? A lot of kids don’t start until closer to 2 but your dr will be able to help see if he needs therapy.

@modom16 yes i did but my dr doesn't really see any problems unless i tell him i feel something is wrong w my baby :(

My 2 year old only says 1 word. It’s actually really common for second kids to talk later I wouldn’t worry.
