when do you start getting an idea of what’s going to happen birth-wise. nearly 24 weeks and feel a wee bit left in the dark. still a ways to go i know but just curious 🧐
@carlybeanw, Oh really that close?? Not much time between 😱 Yeah, i have another appointment on the 10th i’ll bring it up then. thanks 🙂
@lenny_xox, Ah! All my appointments are at Inverclyde but i’ll be having the twins at Paisley. Last appointment bottom baby was head down but chances of staying that way are slim ahah i think. Did you give birth naturally or c-sec?
@mistybabie I was induced at 36+6 weeks. I was told at 34/35 weeks I was being induced, didn't get my actual induction date until a few days before. May be different for c sections though. Ask your midwife x
@mistybabie, just saw your from Greenock, I’m from Clydebank. What hospital are you having your babies in? Both my twins were head down so I was induced at 36 weeks. I got told this at my 32 week consultation xx
@carlybeanw, basically, for me it’s more than likely going to be a planned c-section i think because twins so i just wonder when they actually start talking about a plan
What sort of things are referring to? the general birth or more a birth plan? x
Antenatal groups give you alot of info on what happens although I'm not 100% when you go to them, but ask your midwife 😊 xx
@mistybabie, naturally as both were head down but they said as long as the leading twin aka the twin that’s coming first is head down then you should be good for a natural birth xx
