My body rejected my belly button piercing I got when I was like 15. My dumb butt kept it in for like 2 years even tho my body loves to reject piercings. So anyway the skin is really thin where the ring once was and even with my still "small" baby bump it is stretching. I'm so afraid of it tearing open 😔 really dont want it getting any uglier than it is! Lol its been like 5 years since I've had a ring in it but with the way it "healed" I'm sure I can put a ring threw it though even though I've made no attempt to even want to. I just hope it doesnt cause any problems since its alot of scarred skin so it wont be able to stretch like the rest...

I had a belly piercing that rejected twice and the skin around the belly piercing got super thin and just split lol it’s ok now it just looks really ugly 😖

@msalohakitty 😭 I'm afraid of it looking ugly, it doesnt look bad now... but if it tears I know it wont look good 😔

@kendrab, mine looks like an ugly scar now because it stretched so much 👎🏾 I hope after I have my baby it’ll go back to normal since the skin goes back? Mine had tore a long time ago maybe yours won’t tear tho 🙂

Mine didn't fully reject but it got very thin. I've been lucky enough that it has stretched out each pregnancy without breaking.

Pregnancy definitely ruined my belly button piercing. It stretches so thin when I'm pregnant and then afterwards everything goes back to normal on my stomach except that spot. It's completely out of my control though so I don't worry about it. 🤷🏼♀️I'm just happy to have happy and healthy babies.
