I was terrified my first time. I was so terrified that I wanted a csection and the doctor told me absolutely not lol it wasn’t as bad as I imagined it to be. I have four kids now so it’s not that bad! Any questions feel free to ask.

I am about to have my second c section, and I am still scared... Just remember that the pain is not forever. The recovery from a c section is brutal and also from a vaginal delivery, but the pain is not forever, and regardless of how you bring your baby into this world it is so so so worth it ❤ I was in hella pain but so happy to have my son. This time it is scheduled and I thought that would make it easier, but who knows what could happen and baby will still just come when he is ready to come. You will do great, and no you aren't the only one who is scared.

I’m scared of c-sections. I’m not so scared of tearing since I have twice. Never knew I did until it was time to stitch me up

It's very normal to be scared and nervous. What I tell myself is that baby is coming out one way or another and it's mostly out of my control how it happens. Since it's out of your control, there's no use in worrying too much about it. You'll get through it and you'll have your little babe in your arms. It's all worth it.

@jenny955, me too ! I honestly think I’ll cry when it’s time to push. & I know for sure I’ll cry if they say I need an emergency c-section !

Well just do what your doctor suggests to do and my only suggestion is that if you do have a c section, take the pain meds every chance you can. I felt like the worst mom, so tired, couldn't hardly hold my baby, etc.. But once you don't take it the pain is excrutiating and then it takes even longer to feel okay... My doctor got mad at me trying not to take my meds. And then wean yourself off ass soon as you can too, with tylenol and ibuprofen together. Just that first week or two do everythingggg they told you to do. No lifting, no driving, and take your meds.

I wanted to cry too when they said c section, and I was so scared... But I knew if I talked I would cry and I was just very quiet trying to keep it together.

@babymay2016, oh yeah I plan to do exactly what they say. & I hear that if you move around a lot it helps the healing process as well with a c-section. Is that true ?

Yeah for sure! It's really hard to want to, and I really wanted to but I was super duper freaking swollen I couldn't even walk around.... When I left the hospital SIX DAYS later I was still swollen up to my butt cheeks. Seriously it was awful. This time I will be walking around more, as soon as they tell me I can!

But they had to pump me full of magnesium??? I think I cant remember. But made me way super swollen, and I had to take water pills after I left to get all the fluids out. They sent me out in an extra size wheel chair, couldn't fit in my size 11/12 flip flops, and I could barely walk. It was bad. I should have walked around but I just couldn't.

@domino0317 yeah my sister needed one and she cried. I'm more nervous about everyone around me looking at my vag lol

Thanks for posting this ☺️. Reading all the comments have eased my mind . This is my first and I think the unknown is what makes more nervous , but I guess focusing on holding the miracle will get us all through ☺️

@babymay2016, yeah if I need to get a c-section I do plan on walking when they tell me too. & my brother will be with me so I know for sure that he’ll make me get up. So I’m not to worried about that part

@jenny955, I’m not worried honestly as long as my brother stays by my head then we’re all good. But I’m not to sure how I feel about the thought of having a lot of extra ppl in my room. I don’t like being too crowded that’s why only my brother, cousin & best friend are allowed in the room with me. (Other then the doctors of course)
