💫 FUN FACT: Growing up all I wanted to be was a TV broadcaster! I would make TV segments all the time when I was a kid with my sister and neighbor! I used to pretend I was Katie Couric! In middle school I won an award for creating a news story about something we were learning about in social studies. My teacher gave me the green light to create a “mock” segment and I did with my dad’s shoulder camera! 🎥 Watching it in class with my friends changed my life, THAT was what I wanted to do... share stories.

Life doesn’t always work the way you think it will! I ended up following my dream and Interned in college at our local ABC affiliate in Providence, at Brown University TV... and even at ABC’s The View! After college I quickly realized that I couldn’t afford to take the job I wanted in TV, so I went into the fashion industry (another love of mine)!

Life has a funny way of turning out. When I started my blog over 12 years ago I never realized that I would be able to fill so many dreams within the one industry. Many people ask me all the time, what’s the best thing about blogging… The best thing has been being able to go after different things that I always dreamed of doing. Cohosting @therhodeshow when they need me brings me so much joy because it’s what I originally set out to do! I’ve been able to fill my dreams through doing TV work from my blog… And I never would’ve guessed that all of this would come from starting momgenerations.com all those years ago.

If you are local, you may have seen me this morning!! I love when they asked me to fill-in because it really does bring me such happiness and joy! Not to mention… Cohosting with this guy (@brendankirbytv ) is always a big treat for me! .

To everyone out there who dream really big… It doesn’t matter what age you are, you can always make your dreams come true! Just never give up on yourself! And never give up on dreaming what could be!
