So I wasn’t financially willing to do my daughters party on her actual birthdate, I was going to do it the weekend after, but my mil and fil insisted that it needed to be on the day even if they helped, and “I could pay them back” mind you it’s always me paying, like your son can pay it back or help me anyway, but everything they get has to be expensive, and I’m not willing to owe them a bunch of money, anyway yesterday I told them we have everything handled ourselves and I was getting the cake, today fil text that he got the cake and it’s paid for! He didn’t ask and got bubble guppies knowing I planned a trolls themed. Would you be upset?

@momme, right!! I have had the theme for awhile and he messaged and said she is the one who picked bubble guppies, she has never watched it at my house and not once has she ever said anything about bubble guppies

@momme, yeah I have repeatedly thanked them and again I already didn’t want to do it that day, and I wouldn’t mind their help but they think everything has to be pricy, I already had to spend money on presents and decorations that I didn’t even,the whole reason I wanted to wait. I am grateful for them but they are missing my point, they just keep saying they want the kids to know they love them but the point is not that at all, it’s not communicating before doing thing that I asked not to do.
