Hi! We hope you enjoyed your first day!

We wanted to point out a few features available to you that can help improve your experience.

⛔️ Blocking — This feature prevents selected users from seeing your posts, if you have an altercation with a specific user, we suggest blocking them to prevent future conflict. You can do this by tapping their profile picture > tapping the three dots > tapping block user.

🙌 Following — Following a user brings their posts up in your favorites feed so you don't miss any posts! Follow a user by tapping their profile picture > tapping follow user. If the user you've selected has a private profile, a request will be sent to them for approval.

😎 Private Accounts — By making your profile private, only your followers will see your posts (if you post only to followers..more on that is below). You can make your account private by tapping the profile option at the bottom of your main screen > tapping your username > tapping the cog at the top right-hand corner of your screen > tapping privacy > and turning the private account option on.

🤩 Posting only to followers — this option is available to both private and public accounts. After creating your post and tapping "next" you can select posting "only to followers". This option must be selected for this feature to work, otherwise, it will be posted publicly on the main Newsfeed for everyone to view.

💬 Comments — You have 3 options for comments on your posts. You can select "disable comments" if you do not wish for others to comment. You can have comments made visible only to you, but you can only view comments from others replying is disabled. These options are available on the screen after you have written your post and selected next. If you do not select either of these options, comments will be enabled and visible to everyone who sees your post.

Please also note that we do not suggest giving out any personal identifying information to other users for your own safety.

🚨Complaints — You are able to complain about a post, comment, or private message by submitting a complaint to the Mom.life team.

Post - Tap the three dots in the top right-hand corner of the post > tap complain.

Comment - long tap on the comment > tap report comment

Private message - If you receive a private message from a user for the first time, and do not wish to continue receiving messages, tap "Mark as Spam" in the top right-hand corner.
