So today was the first time I put my son on time out. He hit me and I’m not with it. I don’t wanna be that parent that allows their child to hit them. I felt bad but I feel good that i didn’t give in. I’m teaching him that he can’t hit mommy. My son just turned two so I believe he know what’s he’s doing. How do ya discipline ya kids?

I use time out as a discipline method. I started maybe a month or two ago and it has been working for us. It's not often we have to use it, but every once in a while my daughter will throw a fit if she doesn't get her way. We put her in time out for 1 minute or until she calms down, whichever comes first.
@girlmom., what age did you start? People tell me he’s only two but I feel like this is the time you teach them right from wrong
I use timeout for my daughter. Now if she’s doing something wrong I just have to say “do you want to go to the timeout chair?” And she says no and stops lol
