It honestly disgusts me when I see / hear people say they are hoping their child is born at 37 weeks.
But why?
Each day after 37 weeks is so beneficial. That baby will come when it’s ready.
Stop being so impatient. Appreciate the fact that you’re even lucky enough to have a child.
(Edit to add: nothing I saw on here today.)

I understand being pregnant can be super super uncomfortable .. but I’d rather be uncomfortable and let the baby “bake” longer so he/she can be very healthy...😇

@mommyofthree2711, exactly. ❤️.
I see it all too often. People who are 36/37 weeks posting about how they are ready for baby to ‘finally make their appearance’. Due dates are so estimated.
Like take this one for example (mine). The first day of my last period was July 3rd. Judging by that, I’m Due April 9th 2019. HOWEVER, I only had sex once in the whole month of July. Which was July 18th. And I’m 90% sure I felt implantation one week ago!
So, when April 9th rolls around, I’ll know that in reality, I didn’t even have sex until the 18th!
Due dates are often up to two weeks wrong. Why do people rush something that is so precious. 🤦🏼♀️

@malbhurtado, you’re correct. “Term” is 37-42 weeks.
But like I said in a comment above, due dates are regularly up to 2 weeks wrong. Someone wishing their baby would be born at 37 weeks may actually only be 35 weeks. The point of my post was it just really makes me sad that so many want to rush what desperately needs time.
You’re right in learning forgiveness, but if this post gets across to even one mom who then learns not to try to self induce at 37 weeks, then I’ll be happy. 🤗

@malbhurtado, oh no! I mean the people who use Caster Oil, or who begin to pump (can induce contractions) , and have more sex.
