I start using opks a couple of days after my period. You test in the afternoon once a day until the test looks positive. If you think you’re getting close, start bding every other day. Once you get your positive test, bd the next 3.

I like the easy @ home brand, off amazon.com. They are cheap, and you get a lot of tests.
