So I get a phone call from my biological fathers sister this morning. Today is also the 3yr anniversary of my moms death.
I sent the call to voicemail since I didn’t recognize the number. Listened to the voicemail and immediately shed tears like there’s no tomorrow. Today of ALL days she calls.
I had no idea she even existed. All I know about my situation is him, his wife, my older half sister, my younger half brother and my fathers mom which I hear horror stories about her.
I’m confused, nervous and extremely emotional. Is it a sign from my mom? A coincidence? 😭😓 I have no idea what or how to feel.

@messybunmom, sounds like she has good intentions... also if she's older sometimes with age people start looking back and feel remorseful of missed opportunities. Especially personal ones close to the heart.

@spideymama, we spoke on the phone for an hr. We talked about medical history. The story of why he flaked. Because his mom is a millionaire and didn’t want to give my mom child support and she gave my mom a check to get an abortion.
The conversation went naturally. She actually worked at the place my grandpa used to manage for 30+yrs. she overheard him telling an employee that me and Janine (my mom) were coming to lunch with him when I was little. She remembered his name. Ended up googling my grandpa and calling. Told my grandpas wife that she was an old friend. She told my aunt that my mom passed away and gave her my number. Lol
And we are meeting tomorrow at noon!

So everything went well. We spent 4 hrs together today. I’m very very thankful that they chose to not be apart of my life.
My older half sisters name initials are kkk. 😕😠 so that about sums up what kind of dad I would have had and his crazy stalker wife that would call my schools acting like my mom to see if I was in class or not.
Everyone that knew about me said that I was a very bad name that African Americans are called by some shitty ass ppl.
We plan on keeping in touch, taking it slow and building a relationship.
