Wanted to know how long did some of you moms wait to put your kid in daycare and when you did how did you go by doing your research on a good one
@kenyawashington22, You're so welcome! I struggled at first and it took me awhile to figure it out so I know how overwhelming it can be. Glad I could help!
@aengs2 thank you that was really helpful I just went online and put my request in for a referral so thank you very much that was a lot easier than me looking up places and calling for right now
My son started daycare at 3 months. When I was about 20 weeks pregnant with him, I got a list of daycares from my state's DHS licensing lookup website. I made a spreadsheet and called the daycares so I could get some information from them - Price, availability, hours, what daycare price includes (diapers, wipes, formula?). Then I had it narrowed down based on that info and did in-home tours. At the tours I brought a questionnaire sheet so I could interview the providers regarding things like routines, activities, discipline, and values. Once we decided, we put in our application and deposit and she held an infant spot for us.
That's good i scene home daycares in my area but I have to look into them
Both my boys at 2 months went to home daycare. My grandma neighbor who I knew all my life at the time was license. They stay with her until my grandma retired. Than my grandma got them. This baby will be with my grandma.
My son didn’t go to daycare till about 2 1/2 only because my grandma was able to take care of him while I was at work and she knew my concern about taking him before he could talk. He only went for a few months and right back to my grandmas because of money but also because I was having another baby and wanted them together. And when I looked up places I pretty much just searched near my area and read the reviews on the places and what best fit as far as hours and prices
