For a week now my son has been extra difficult since he got sick, (he’s all recovered now, I think) but he’s still acting some type of way. He wakes up in the middle of the night screaming mama or making demands for his water or babas, or grandma. But he really doesn’t want any of that. He just seems to be restless and want to fight/cry. And his tantrums during the day are absolutely horrible ☹️ and he won’t listen to me . I feel so sad 😞 like have I done something wrong?

No mama but to diffuse those tantrums give him options say to him do you want to keep crying or do you want to go take a nap. I tell my daughter to use her words.

@letmegetagrip, I tell him as well. I explained to him why we shouldn’t throw our selves on the floor, I tell him “use your words. What do you want?” And it’s like he doesn’t respond he just wants to keep tantruming. It’s really frustrating :/

@domsmama96 that's when you ignore it. The more attention you give him the worse it gets so walk away and let him throw his tantrum and say I will be in the living room or kitchen or where ever when you want to come talk to me nicely.
