I had wondered that too @leslyev92, i have been contracting for several days now. The only time i remember losing (and actually noticing) my plug with any of my pregnancies was when i was in l&d with my last son. My body just feels crazy right now and i can’t seem to remember much from my other pregnancies-even with this being 4th baby 🤦🏻‍♀️

@brittanymb, it happens. Your body feeling different or crazy could be a sign of labor especially w blood and at the point you are at. How are the contractions rn ?

I haven’t timed them this morning but the last few days the closest they’ve been together was maybe every 7-9 min. I’m only 1cm dilated and have been for a little over a week now with no change as of Tuesday and my cervix was still really high according to my doctor.

I would call your doctors office, just to be sure. Any blood in pregnancy warrants a call in my opinion, even if you think it’s just the plug. My office has an off hours number for things like this.

Thanks ladies. I have tried calling my ob office 5 times now and still haven’t gotten an answer. I didn’t bleed anymore after this mornings incident and then i just went to the bathroom again and it was light pink bleeding like it was this morning. I will keep trying to call. Not sure why they aren’t answering their phones

I finally just got a call back. The nurse said to take Tylenol and a bath and if i have 6 contractions in an hour then to go to l&d. She said the spotting could be from the doctor checking me at my appt this past Tuesday. I’ve just had nonstop menstrual like cramps all day and contractions mixed in with it but nothing to be able to time. Hard to relax and take it easy with three small children to tend to as well lol
