Just curious.... Having insurance, anyone go through an experience with your OB doctor where they charged you upfront (for me $1100). This includes prenatal care, delivery, and postpartum care.

I did! It was my OB deductible for the year. I paid my $1000 and never got
Billed for anything. Never got a bill from the hospital and once I paid it i never had to pay at an appointment. I had to have it paid off by a certain week or they would drop me.

I had to pay mine up front before delivery time. Mine was around $1700 or so.. just for the Dr doing the delivery. I still have to pay whatever the hospital charges too! I made my last payment today, getting induced tomorrow.

You should ask to talk to the insurance person.. They have to have someone. And btw I can't see your reply unless you @ my username

They had said it would be 4 thousand something and that I had to pay x amount by my 7th month of pregnancy, or find care elsewhere. I asked to have a week or so to apply for "Soonercare" which is like OK State insurance, and thankfully I got approved right away and only had to pay for the two visits I already had.

It’s just the doctors office for all of my OB appointments. Not including hospital/lab/ultrasounds

Like did you sit down with an insurance person at your hospital? Earlier in my pregnancy (and with my first) I sat down with the lady who deals with insurance at the hospital, she went over this whole plan with me and made sure I understood what I will be needing to pay and when. It was going to be around 4K even after insurance. I have Aetna insurance and then I signed up for state insurance as my secondary and now my entire delivery and pregnancy is free to me. Is there another insurance you may qualify for? You could try to see if that's possible? But in my opinion that is super cheap, but still FREE is better!
