Have any of y'all had children around 1 with separation anxiety? I can't even walk 5 ft away from hadleigh without screaming, crying and throwing a tantrum. Only way to make it better is to cuddle her on the couch w a blanket. I can't even walk in the kitchen without her freaking out. I'm gonna lose my mind

I had the same problems with my son we end up doing tough love with him

@allyhaulk I might have to. I can't keep stopping what I'm doing just to cuddle her for 20-30 minutes

He did it too. After a few weeks it got better. Drove us crazy though.

Haven't had experience with this, but I did read that you can start by soothing with your voice so she knows you are close. For example: "I'm just doing the dishes in the kitchen!"
