BIRTH STORY: July 29, 2018 @ 6:37 am I started getting contractions that were a little stronger than the BH I had been getting. After getting 3 of them I started to time them, they were 10 minutes apart but not so painful so I thought maybe they would go away.. around 8-8:30 AM they got closer 7-8 minutes apart. I shouldn't have waited any longer knowing my drive to the hospital was about 20 minutes from my house. My hubby drove me to the hospital w/ the emergency lights on because from 7-8 minutes apart contractions they went to 4-6 minutes and then to 1-2 minutes apart. I arrived to L&D at 10:07 AM the nurse told me "you're a tricky one, you're having contractions and still smiling" .. she had me lay on the bed and checked my cervix at 10:36 AM and I was 9 cm!!! 😯 she rushed me to the delivery room, called the Dr on call and got everything ready in a hurry. The Dr popped my water bag and after 9 pushes I had my son at 11:07 AM weighing 6 lbs 1 oz and 19 in. This was the fastest delivery ever!! 💙
