I may be wrong and have not tried to myself but I was told by other women they won't do a Brazilian wax this late in pregnancy. Not sure if it's true but if you can get it done I would!

@hollya1221, Oh it’s more for myself. I know they don’t care 😂 I pooped on the delivery table my first time around. Dealing with the healing process after delivery is so much easier if you’re shaved also. And I have a history of tearing

@honeyxxbee, yes that’s what I just updated my comment to say lol. I always have to have 5+ stitches and it’s easier to keep them clean when I have a smooth surface

I've never had a wax, but always shaved. The hospital I delivered my second son at asked if I shaved or not because they would shave you if you didn't!

Ouch ouch ouch- no! BUT if someone is willing to do a brazillian, I am sure if you bring a razor and cream AND pay them, they will shave you! Or just ask your partner to.

Have you gotten them before? That area can be super sensitive especially this far along & can be very painful if you’re not used to getting waxed.

@amysbabies, I’m not worried about the pain, I’m worried about being thrown into labor 😂🤭 my husband almost cut my clit off when I was pregnant with my daughter 😩 not even worth giving him a second chance lol

I’m not really worried about the pain lol. I just need to be hair free for like 3 weeks after delivery so I’d prefer wax rather than razor

Got one done a week before my induction, it was definitely a bit more sensitive but didn’t put me in labor or anything! I don’t think you have much to worry about, I’m glad I got it done.. and you’re definitely right about being hair free for postpartum care for yourself!

@knockout, I definitely get waxed but I’ve been doing it before pregnancy for years! There’s no way I’m delivering with a bunch of hair😂I do I cause I feel cleaner too
