@2princesses1queen_, it’s okay to combine breast milk and formula if you need to while establishing your supply. I would encourage you to not give up yet. Keep trying and see if you can build your supply. And if you still have problems, it’s okay to throw in the towel too. Good luck momma!! 🤗

@2princesses1queen_, if baby is one week, she won’t be eating much yet. How much were you getting when you pumped?

@scruffy.nerf.herder yea used the right ones, I just cant lol my nipples are sensitive my one boob wasnt doing much. I felt like she wasnt getting enough. nooo, no PPD if I kept doing it probably lol

@2princesses1queen_, I’m so sorry to hear that momma! It’s really hard, I know!! Are you using the correct size flanges on your pump? Regarding the emotional piece, are you just feeling overwhelmed or do you also think you could have PPD?

@2princesses1queen_, are you pumping every three hours? You’ll need to pump frequently to keep up supply. I know how bad this sucks! My son wouldn’t latch at nighttime and would get so upset, so I just gave him breast milk bottles at nighttime. After I fed him his bottles, then I would pump & do a quick wash on pump parts. Try to pump every time your baby eats. Once your body is used to the pump, you should be able to empty your breasts in 10-15 minutes of pumping. Do you have a double electric? Hands-free pumping bra also makes a world of difference! You can make one out of a cheap bra.

I tried and did 3 days w my first girl, still debating w my 2nd just about 6 yrs later !!

@2princesses1queen_ yeah I'm running on 2-3 hours of sleep every night and I can't nap during the day. That's just part of being a mommy with a tiny baby 🤷🏼‍♀️ I'm glad I had my girls 24 months apart and didn't have a chance to get used to sleeping normally. I would give up sleeping entirely if it meant I could nurse and bond with my girls, there's nothing more intimate and beautiful than breastfeeding. Did you know that a mom will make an entirely unique breast milk for each baby she has? Pretty incredible 💕

@vvrobinson I really tried so hard the middle of the night kills me so bad

@2princesses1queen_ I nursed my first 17.5 months. She weaned herself because I was pregnant and it broke my heart. I am happy to nurse again. I love nursing, nothing better than breastfeeding your baby

I did too and my supply went to poop . You’ll regret it so much ! It’s tough and tiring but worth it !
