Anyone here been served with divorce pappers?
My hubs finally made the move and paid for it (thank god) well I got peppers today idk how to go about signing then or whatnot need to do i am due Aug 3rd and I'm summons to court Aug 13th
He's got down how manybdags outta the year he wants her and etc
Are you in agreement with everything on the document? If not, don’t sign it.
Says he wants me to have her 190 days and he wants her 175 days
Which is every weekend he wants her from Thursday at 8:00 unroll Sunday... I'm ok with that the only thing is I'm in rolling her in school she is 4 and idk how that would work of he has her Fridays

Long story we have been apart for 2 yrs this baby I am prego with isn't his but anyways the reason he wants a divorce is so he don't have to pay child support
I already had an agreement between me n him he could get her every weekend or every other weekend and he decided every other 2nd every weekend would mess up his plans well inlet her go with him one weekend and he didn't bring her bavk5or let me see or talk to her for 3 months straight well I went over to his and his gfs apartment and I knocked well my daughter whobwas 3 at the time opens the door and I find out she's left there with 2 other underage kids so I grabbed my little girl and took off and he has had a visit with her once since then it's been over 5 months and he don't come by to see her or anything and I just know started to get child support from his job after fighting for about a year over it
Nope. Talk to a lawyer. Don’t sign a damn thing until you have a lawyer look at it, and if you can’t trust him with her there’s no way in hell I’d let her spend half the year with him.

Everything was going fine unroll he got this gf and she's older then him and been divorced and has kids already well when he got With her he decided he just wasn't gonna bring her back etc and there wasn't anything ibcould do bc we were2still legally married
I wouldn’t sign them and speak to a lawyer. How is he suppose to get a brand new baby that many days? What if you’re breastfeeding, what if the baby doesn’t take the bottle, what is he going to do? No judge is going to give him that unless you agree to it.

Hell to the no. Hell no. He shouldn’t get her every weekend right off the bat after not seeing her and basically kid napping her. And cutting in to her school week by taking her on Thursday at 8, which is usually bed time, will more than likely impact her negatively. She would have to cope with going to bed later on a school night and her routine would be thrown off which is a lot for a little kid. I would make him do every other weekend visitation and have him pick her up from school on his fridays and pick her up before dinner on sundays so that she has time to adjust and go to bed at a decent time.
O okay. I misread. I’m not sure how the laws work where you are at. But most judges don’t let parents that don’t get along, with kids under 10yrs, do anything other than 1,3,5th weekend. Unless you and him agree to a different schedule. But if you don’t agree to it, more than likely he will only get her 1,3,5th weekend. Don’t let him bully you into anything. He may be trying to rush the divorce because he may have to do a paternity test for the new baby. Since she is being born a child of the marriage, even if you’re separated.

@sboolay I'm okay with him seeing or getting her as long as I am assured he has to bring her back to me and if he don't I have a right to go get her ... but your right I do not agree with getting her on Thursdays
She isn't enrolled in school yet but our registration her is Aug 1st so I am going to get it all set up but I feel like he is kinda pushing it bc I am due Aug 3rd with the new baby (not his)

This paper says that the defendant (me) has to pay all his fees

@keeondracarroll01 Go to a legal aid office in your city you can get it done for free ..they give free legal advice and your your local court file the paperwork back if you prove you can't afford it they will not make you pay..I did my 1st divorce that way when I was 21 and wanted a divorce

@keeondracarroll01 maybe he made this paper up...never seen that stated on a document and I've seen divorce papers before. Maybe this is just a notarized paper he made .. not a documented approved letter from A Judge

Get a lawyer! I just read this to my bf cuz I was like wow ! What a situation! And he replied "what a looser he is! And if she doesn't show he gets everything he wants" I feel like you have a right to breast feed and he's kinda making that an impossible thing for you to do and that's just a small aspect of the situation. Girl my heart goes out to you. I can't believe this is something you have to face right at this time. I really think there is got to be a family court lawyer that can help put this off a little longer for you to at least be able to give birth and have a couple weeks for you to bond and heal before you deal with this
What if you want to do something with her on a weekend? When would you do a birthday party for her? Not many people will come during the week days, camping, sleep overs, ect. Every other weekend is one thing, but now every weekend. Especially with her going to school. Maby every other weekend with a visitation day during the week that would be for like 2 hrs or something so he could help with homework ect. This dude sounds nuts.
