Imma have to call the pubic health nurse on monday or get ahold of the wic lactaion consultant. Dd sucks in so much air during feedings its causing her to spit up and be gassy. Ive tried differnt positions and shes still sucking in air. Her latch feels fine it doesnt hurt While shes nursing. At this point idk what im doing wrong

I have the same problem she gets plenty of milk just won't open mouth wide enough think

If she’s sucking in air, her latch isn’t fine. Definitely see an IBCLC to rule out any ties.

@laniejay a tie is seriously the only thing i can think she has. When shes latched it doesnt cause me pain and no matter what position i put her in it always sounds the same. Shes still emptying but shes also a little uneasy afterwards because of the air shes taking in.. Her lips are flared while shes on and i dont see much if any of my areola. So a tounge tie is really the only thing i can think of
