my son went to day care for the first time, went for two days and already caught a cold 🤦🏽♀️ does anybody have any remedies to help break a runny nose and cough for a 1 year old 😩?

My son hates it too I have to hold him down but my pediatrician even said it needs to be done since we can’t blow their noses
In daycares it’s an unfortunate side affect that the kids constantly are passing germs to each other. I have no choice so I feel you 💯
I know it’s terrible I have been dealing with it. The nasal aspirator helps too.
@islandmer, yeah my son is too, especially because he’s not around kids so when he is he gets sick automatically. i usually just let it run its course but i figures there could be something i could possibly use.

You can use the oils whenever the hylands drops I have honestly used in the day and night as well. I’m more into trying natural remedies since my son is sick so often

My son has been sick on and off since starting. I got these great roll on essential oils made for babies. They have one for runny nose that does work for my son. They also have one for cough and one for fever. They sold them at my Walmart in the baby section
Hang in there once you clear his nasal passages he will feel better they just hate us while it’s happening
