What’s wrong with it?

@steph0524, so she had baby food for the first time yesterday, and she had a solid poop, and it was yellow, and like a grayish purple color. Did I feed her to much at once? Or what, she is my first so I’m lost.

Flavor wise ? My daughter pooped a gray green color when I introduced banana flavored

@mrscecco316, did she complain of pain while pooping? Was the consistency of the poop any different than before?

She might just not be ready for solids. It’s generally recommended to not start them until 6mos. I’d go back to milk/formula only for a while.

@steph0524, no she was just pushing really hard, and yeah it was way more solid this time

I agree with @wafflespancakes, you should wait a little longer to re introduce them.

@wafflespancakes, her ped said to start introducing it, we didn’t give her anymore than a couple spoon fulls. And this was the first time

@mrscecco316, try showing her ped. The picture of the poop. They’ll let you know if her stomach is actually ready to digest it. My first was ready at 5 months but her poop didn’t change too drastically and my second couldn’t handle baby food until closer to 6 months. Every baby’s system is different. Also when introducing the food try not to do it with combined fruits in case she shows allergies to it you can detect which one is the one that causes a problem.
