Ok guys I need advice.. i go in for my c section on Monday. They told me not to eat or drink after 12 am Sunday night. My surgery isn't scheduled until 1130 😱 How am I going to make it through. I literally throw up if I get to hungry now nd. An never seem to quench my thirst. I'm not even thinking bout the procedure anymore I'm terrified if being sick beforehand.
Trigger. Lost baby Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

I am a surg tech & assist in c-sections so I am telling u from 1st hand experiences DONT DO IT!!!! If u eat after midnight u have a greater chance of vomiting & possibly assparating during the procedure! Plus u will be nervous/anxious/excited to meet ur lil baby the last thing ur gonna be worried about is eating.

@korimommi just have the hubby get u a nice meal for dinner u'll be more than ready to eat after all the anesthesia wears off. & early congrats on the 👶

Wow. I didn’t know you couldn’t eat for that long. I would eat a nice and hearty last dinner so you feel satisfied the night before. But definitely follow your doctor’s requirements. Make sure you’re plenty hydrated the night before too.

I had my section scheduled at 7:30am. Nothing to eat until past midnight. Well surprise surprise, they don’t let you have anything but liquids until you pass gas and they deem you fit to handle solids. So I didn’t eat until that late afternoon/evening. I think it was almost 24 hours.
