It’s normal my son came off when he was only 1 week old and now he’s two weeks old

I don’t remember but I think 11 days w my first and perhaps sooner w my second. That looks fine to me. No puss or anything right??

@phoebesmommy, No I don’t think so it’s not really open for me to see anymore it did bleed a little but it stopped

@mommyofaqueen, just keep it dry. Don’t put her in a bath, just do a sponge bath. Plus babies really don’t need a bath everyday it dries their skin out.

@mommyofaqueen, no I just wiped him down for a couple of days soo it can heal all the way then once it look like it was heal I gave him a normal bath

@phoebesmommy, It is actually puss but it’s very little and her belly button is still very open I saw it when she stretched out her body and it has a smell to it

My daughters fell off at 4 days when she had her first check up the Dr cauterized it and when we got home it was stuck to her shirt and I was terrified. I took her to the er and they said it was fine and gave her an antibiotic just in case and she was fine after that
