All Moms I need advice ASAP!!!
My 2yrs loves bath time. She’s a water baby. I have never had problems with her taking bath. She use to beat me to the bathroom when I tell her bath time...
But for the last weeks things have change. She is terrified of the bath. She starts yelling, screaming, crying, likes there’s fear in her face now. As a mother I get frustrated cause she can’t tell me what’s wrong & it’s sad for me watching her love taking baths to not just plain out In fear of the bath tub. Any advice cause I have to give her a bath but I HATE hearing her like that in seeing that kinda fear in her face.
I do plan on calling her doctor Monday morning to see what I could do to help her or figure out what’s going on 😩😩😢😢😢

Give it time. Mayb try getting in with her until she likes it again

@amberjacq, not to my knowledge, besides her dad. She did start swimming lesson the same week tho 😩

@tierrafelton26 something traumatic had to happen. To make her fear the bath out of the blue.

My son was the same, loved baths, then we started swimming lessons, and now he hates baths. But I've heard it's also a normal thing for kids to suddenly get irrational fears about something, like baths or beds, without there being an actual reason.

It doesn't necessarily mean something traumatic happened, my son also loved baths and suddenly started hating them. Absolutely nothing had happened. One Monday he loved baths and then Tuesday he screamed and cried his head off. I started only bathing him twice a week, and then we did showers for a while. He liked the showers. Then I filled the tub with some water but kept the shower on. Then just baths and he was fine with it.

@tierrafelton26, So we can rule out someone hurting her, when I was little my step dad shoved me underneath the water when he gave me a bath so I’d cry everytime my mom told him to give me a bath because I was afraid

Hopefully it'll get better but like I said b4 give it time. Its a phase most kids go through
