@heilwife317, no we just moved to Kentucky and my family is in Arizona.

@saleenac8 gotcha. That is rough. If there is no shower it's difficult to ask people to buy you gifts. Have you considered sharing the registry just with family (parents/grandparents) in an email announcing and thanking them for their support? As far as Facebook I don't really know what people would think of that but if you do...I would say something like this: "Hello family and friends. We are so excited to welcome our little bundle of joy. Due to our move we know it would be difficult to have a shower and so we have decided not to. We do have a registry with the things we need if you would like to get a gift (but please do not feel obligated to do so). Thank you for always being there for us and we can't wait to share more with you as we start our journey as parents!"

Maybe share it in a pm on Facebook so it’s private?

@heilwife317, that’s perfect!!! Lol we just didn’t know how to tell people. Everyone keeps asking for it and we didn’t know if it would be easier to just post it. But I really didn’t want to. Thank you!!!

@saleenac8 could do a virtual baby shower via fb. Set a date, invite family to the event. Then do a live recording of you opening everything.
