Are you undressing her down to a diaper while feeding her? It can be a pain but sometimes that helps wake them up.

@leahkay @its.a.bird i change her diaper before feeding she wakes up for that and isnt happy about it but as soon as im done shes like im going back to sleep now.

@mom4m are you breastfeeding? I would definitely try what @its.a.bird said. That would probably keep her awake for a little.

@leahkay she is breastfeeding.. She eats every 4 hours sometimes a litte less. She stays up good if i dont have to wake her but if i wake her shes like ehh no

@its.a.bird she wont latch when shes sleeping she pulls herself off and puts my breast on her cheek lol

@mom4m how many wet diapers is she having a day? As long as she has 6 that's a good sign.

@leahkay Shes got more than 6 a day forsure. Id say theres atleast 8-10

@mom4m that's really good then, that's a sign she's getting enough milk. Hopefully she's gaining weight then! I bf my kids and they always slept a lot as newborns but still gained weight.

@leahkay im hopeing so. Im pretty sure shes getting enough, im pumping about 2- 4oz or so from the opposite side she eats from so i hope its just that she eats so good that she can sleep longer streaches without needing to feed. When shez up shes alert and happy.

@leahkay @its.a.bird i feel much better now. We just got back from her weight check and shes up to 7lbs 12oz.. she was 7.7 at birth and 7.1 last week friday . So relieved that even tho she sleeps in 4ish hour streaches shes still gaining like she should
