I needed this post and I just spoke to my cousin about this like I'm tired of kissing people's behind especially my long lost cousins and them like I used to call reached out but never get any reply so I took all this time to focus on me and soon to be my newborn and it has nothing to do with me having a Husband now. Now she's playing Ms perfect like she has always been the best at keeping great relationships with all of them. Girl no keep all that advice and energy all to yourself. I'm good love 🙄 like we never had a fall out or never felt like you were too busy to keep in touch. Girl bye. Talking about she didn't mean to catch me in a bad mood this morning. Ha its called telling you what has been on my mind. No you're not better than any of them now that we talk twice a week at least making an effort to. I will still pray for all of them and have forgiven mostly everything but I can't seem to forget how they treated me 😫😥. Long rant I'm done 😏

I don’t think it’s selfish to stop the effort put into relationships that are one-sided. It just depends on how much you were expecting from them too though. I feel like as I get older and my girls get older, life gets busier and I only have so much time to give to others. This is mainly why I have friends on here bc it doesn’t take up my extra time I have for close relationships IRL. But if I were trying to meet up w friends IRL my time would be stretched very thin depending on when they were available. Nothing wrong with setting boundaries... but maybe think twice before you cut ppl off.

@phoebesmommy old and existing fall outs then not so much of them being genuine nor truly cares so relationships just fade away
