I’m at a 1 1/5 if I dilate anymore within the next 3 hours I am being transferred to Odessa Tx…

What were you dilated when they last checked you like before this time?

Making cervical change they think it’s best to send me to a hospital with a NICU just Incase baby is under stress.

I thought it was normal to start dilating early. I was 3 cm at 36 weeks and stayed there until 40 weeks.

@mississippi.queen, she’s having regular contractions as well. That’s what makes it concerning.

@juliam27, honestly- I’d ask for the transfer anyways. My personal opinion is that hospitals without NICU’s are not equipped to handle premature labor. I began labor with my preemie at one. They told me to just be at peace and say goodbye (clearly you’re behind that stage, but I wasn’t) anyhow- as soon as I was stable, I demanded an ambulance transfer. My kiddo is 4 and healthy now btw.

But also- If something happens fast you won’t have to be worried about being admitted to one hospital while you’re son is somewhere else.

@mississippi.queen, I have been in premature labor for 3 weeks with constant contractions that don’t go away and it’s putting my baby under some stress so they think it’s best I don’t deliver him here

@laniejay, That’s what my mom was just telling me to be asked to transfer anyways just Incase. I will not fly in a helicopter I’d rather go by ambulance

@rebelprincesz24, me too. He’s hasn’t been moving as much either but his heart rate is good

@juliam27, I hope he starts moving more and that his heart rate stays good. It would probably be best to ask for the transfer just in case though

@laniejay, yea that’s what I was thinking. Plus flying gives me motion sickness and causes me to have anxiety attacks

Yes having a nicu where your at is best so you can go see him. Praying he stays in longer ❤️ try and relax don’t stress. Keep us updated.
