I've been dealing with some bad post partum depression lately and tonight was supposed to be a night for just me and my boyfriend but every time we make plans for us to hang out something always comes up where someone "needs" him almost always his cousin who gets to trashed and needs a ride home. I understand not wanting his cousin to drive drunk but its every time and he never just goes to pick him up and bring him home they always end up hanging out. I've been alone on the couch for 3 hours crying waiting for him to come home and he keeps saying his cousin needs him blah blah. But hes never here when I need him I just feel so alone and unloved 😔

Not as postpartum but I’ve gone through this when I was pregnant.. it’s a hurtful, horrible feeling and I’m sorry he’s making u feel this way.
Have u tried telling him ur worries abt postpartum and appreciating him putting some effort into hanging out with u so u don’t feel so alone..
tell him it is something to take very seriously; let alone his women’s feelings

@joyfulmom2b I did talk to him about it and he apologized and guess what, hes doing it to me again right now, running to the store has turned into a 2 hour event.

@amberxleigh55, yup I know exactly how that is, he did it to me through my whole pregnancy but lately has been getting better once I let him know I found out he was trying to step outside of our relationship, he used being nervous abt the baby as a accuse for all his actions during my pregnancy. Completely crushed me, I’m not saying that is a possibility what’s happening with you but he could be trying to dodge responsibility being nervous and new to the situation
