How would you go about potty training a 2 1/2 year old to pee on the potty while also wearing a pull up or even underwear?
He goes poop(for the most part) and pee on the potty without us asking or telling him to go when he's naked from the waist down but when we have a pull up or even underwear on him, he will pee and poop in them.

That’s a nice age to understand to pull things up and down. With my daughters I always dress them in jogging pants or short easy for them to get up and down.

Once my son was potty trained naked I put underwear on him cause pullups were just another diaper to him. We went through 2 packs of undies cause he thought he could go in them and didn't like being wet I just kept reminding him to pull them down before going and it worked.

Thanks ladies. I will have to start working more on the underwear potty training and hopefully he picks up on it
