Hey mom's I need advice my little one has been popping HARD poop and he cries every time he takes a poop I gave him prune juice and still no change what can I do he have a doctor's appointment Tuesday. Is there anything I can do at home or should I go through ER??

Why go to the ER? Just call your pedi nursing line and ask them for suggestions they might just have you come in sooner to be seen.

Don't take a baby to the er for that. He isn't emergent. You'll sit I the waiting from with him around actual sick people with things you can catch

No ER yet. How’s his tummy? Soft, hard, distended?
How much is he drinking a day? Sounds like he needs more fluids. Are you ff or breastfeeding?

He's 5month's Month's right... when my son had this issue I did take him to Er..they said if the babies poop is hard or after 3 days of not pooping to Always go in. ...The poop gets hard because,,it's old poop on top of new poop backed up..maybe he will need an enema...be safe #1 call the pediatrician
