Went to my drs appt today n was told bad news i had to do the 3hr glucose test last week and i did and i passed every hour after i drank the drink but i failed my initial fasting blood work so they are saying i have gestational diabetes. They said the fasting blood is the only test that matters like uggghhhhh

I have to retake mine in the morning and I’m so mad about it cause to my knowledge I passed all the hours and the fasting so ugh 😩 that sucks though

@brittany88, yeah my doctor said if I fail the initial they wouldn’t even waste my time taking the rest of it I’m dreading tomorrow my body hurt so bad after the last 3 hr that actually lasted 5

I’m surprised they let you do the 3 hour if you failed the fasting. Mine pricked my finger before I could even start the test. If that number failed, I wasn’t even allowed to take it.

@penelope127, they took blood 4xs 1 was the fasting they didn’t even prick my finger it would of saved me 3 hrs

@brittany88, yeah it would have. Mine did all the blood draws too during the 3 hour.

Well I am a type 2 diabetes.And with my last one. She was fine.. And this one will be fine to. But as long as you do your part you and baby will be fine
