Has anyone tried fresh pineapple or raspberry leaf tea to bring on labor? Does it work? How much of each should I start with? NO negative comments please. I have the okay from my doctor since I'm being induced in 7 days.. I've been having contractions on and off and my cervix is thinned out completely and starting to dilate I just want to try that extra push.

Nipple stimulation is the top one, try it with your breast pump. Do one breast for 15 minutes then do the other one for 15 minutes as well. Walking helps a lot. I tried fresh pineapples it didn't work and my labor did go by fast I want to assume it was from the red raspberry leaf tea. I started drinking the tea when I reached my second trimester
@jessicawashburn16 we were told 2 orally and 1 vaginally at night. Just don't panic when it pops, it isn't your water. The smell is different.
@heilwife317 I've been taking two orally... what dosage I've heard inserting them into the vagina too
Primrose oil is also a great option. It's what my doula suggests if we go further than 40 weeks.

It won’t hurt to drink the raspberry tea now. I started taking it at the start of the 3rd trimester, and once you get about 33 weeks you slowly increase the amount of cups per day. If anything the tea tastes really good.
A ton of fresh pineapple cores. I believe at least 6. Years ago, the raspberry tea was for inducing but now, they say it just strengthens your uterus. So that may not be a good idea for inducing
