They welcomed me back and held my spot but I didn't return

I started a filing job when I was pregnant with my son. Then once I was about 6 months and they knew I was pregnant they fired me. Their reason of course was stupid, they said that I was extremely unprofessional. I found a kitten in the parking lot and hid it in a box under the desk until the end of the day. The company was a lumber company, it was a small office and a huge warehouse. Where there are dozens of stray cats the lumber cutters/loaders feed and pet them daily and one of their regulars walks around the office with a pet raccoon. So it did not work out so well for me. 🙄 But their reason was bullshit, they just didn't want to have to give me benefits after 3 months.

@kambam ah ok.did u quit the job entirely or did u go back after maternity leave?

Nope. Don't bring it up unless necessary. A month notice before you leave for maternity. I left at 36w and my boss knew when I was around 25w. Found out on his own lol

@kambam did you tell your boss right away?

I started a new job when I was about 12w but it was easy AF
