LORD HAMMERCY!!!

GUESS what happened this morning y'all?!?! I swear sometimes all you can do as a mama is throw your hands up, laugh hysterically and say I love my kid...even if he's a little weirdo!! Haha! Ok on to the good stuff...

So this morning my husband decided he's gonna wake me up for a little morning lovin, ok cool!! He has to leave for work at 4:30 in the morning so this RARELY happens anymore, that or our almost 3 year old has made his way to our bed before morning so not happening. Anyway...coast is clear so we start doin our thing. Everything's goin good, we've even somehow managed to not have the damn cat in bed with us too so we're totally free, have the WHOLE bed to ourselves! Well, just as things are gettin good....we hear it....that distinct sound of a rapidly approaching toddler....his little feet running as fast as they can across the kitchen floor, about to be in our doorway. My husband and I separate faster than a couple of teenagers that have just heard her mama pull into the driveway and we're gonna pull the ol "we're still sleepin" routine. So were both laying there, perfectly still, just EXUDING "I'm asleep, I'm asleep", all in the hopes that he's gonna see us, realize we're sleeping and not ready to play for the day, grab his water cup and go back to lay down. WELL...this little boy grabs his water cup off my nightstand, climbed up on the ledge of the bed frame, that's just wide enough for his tiny feet, bent down to get RIGHT in my face-like seriously his nose is touching mine- I'm still TRYING to be perfectly still and asleep. He then proceeds to yell at the TOP of his lungs (SERIOUSLY).."MOM, MOM I'M IN HERE!! I'M IN HERE MOM!! MOM, YOU SEE ME??" My husband and I both just started CRACKING up! Haha! Our laughing kinda made him jump at first, cause he thought we were alseep, but then he started giggling and couldn't stop which was making it so Kirk and I couldn't stop laughing either! As I'm laughing, I say I know you're in here baby, you need your water so you can go back to sleep? He says "NOOOO..I'm IN here mom, wanna lay wis me?? Lol! SO...no morning lovin for mom and dad but we ended up with a family belly laugh before 4 this morning!! Haha! Kids.....
