@bj1605 well it was obviously a lot different, in my case to be honest, the recovery from the vbac was worse than the csection. I had 3 tears, one being a 2nd degree and I still can't sit up straight yet without pain meds, it was because I'm so small down there that the doctor needed to use forceps to get baby out. It was definitely painful and exhausting after pushing for an hour and a half and since I wasn't able to get the epidural until last minute, I still felt a good amount of it.
@bj1605 if your worried about rupture, you don't have to have a vbac, doctors usually just do a repeat csection after you've already had one. I'd talk to your doctor about any concerns you have being that your first is only 9m old, they usually don't recommend getting pregnant again that soon after a csection, it's better to wait a year, even better to wait 2 but things don't always work out that way.
@bj1605 yeah that happened to my 2w old as well, his heartrate dropped once which is why my doctor decided to have the forceps and an emergency team standing by in the room. If it happened again he would have jumped in right away with the forceps but thankfully it didn't happen... He ended up using them because I was getting too tired
@lorakrolik wow, that's crazy you had the same exact experience. I see your youngest is 9m now, how long until everything felt better again? I'm almost at the end of my 2 weeks and I'm still so sore and wondering when I'll ever feel better down there again... 😥
