This by far is the most heartbreaking thing we have experienced this year. I posted last week that I got my BFP at 12dpo, and we were over the moon. I ended up spotting all weekend (only there when I wiped and was pink and light brown) thinking it was just implantation bleeding I had no reason for concern. Until Monday. We had announced to close family and friends and unfortunately we had to make those dreaded calls this week. Monday I started bleeding really heavy bright red blood, and went to urgent care. They did labs, as well as a pelvic exam. I got my results and my beta HCG came back at a 1. I had a chemical pregnancy, and had likely miscarried before I even went in for the bleeding. Lots of blood and clots, and now Thursday, I have no more bleeding, and all pregnancy symptoms are gone. I had no cramps accompanying the bleeding, no nothing. Just the heaving bleeding and that was it. Just like that, in less than a week (from 12dpo-17dpo), I was pregnant and then not. We are heartbroken but moving forward to continue our journey. I appreciate everyone who congratulated us and hope we will have a sticky bean sometime in the near future!
