Anyone know why my daughters bottle nipples are inverting? It's done it twice in the past couple…

When they are sucking air it can cause a reverse suction and invert the nipple. We switched bottle brands because it started happening a lot.

@beakymcspence do you think that itcould also be that I'm still on level 1 nipple size and she need to move to a heavier flow nipple size?

That might work. We went up a stage after the nipple started collapsing, you could try it. I’d switch to a vented bottle but if you have no bottles with a vent try loosening the bottle top ever so slightly.

@jessgarr- thanks. I tried the faster flow before but that was like maybe 6 weeks ago and she was not liking it. It was too much but I bet now she will like it. I'll try that anyways

Had the same thing happen. We were using the munchkin latch bottles which were great and we went up in stages of nipples until it got to the point where he had grown and they just weren't the right shape for his mouth anymore and switched to advent anti colic bottles and haven't had an issue since

@laura.lorentsen33 I use medela bottles and nipples but ages still on slow flow. So I'm going to move to medium flow and see if that makes a difference

@beakymcspence just weird how in 6 months it's never happened till now. And she feeds herself now and always tips it up
