Am I in the wrong? So I don’t have a relationship with my mom what so ever I don’t want to have a relationship with her but the other day my husband saw a picture of my daughter on someone’s profile picture and it’s my effing mom like I haven’t talked to her in years and before that for 10 years. On the comments she’s telling everyone I won’t allow her to have a relationship with her grandkids and it’s my fault why I don’t want a relationship but I don’t because she always chose drugs over me I don’t want that in my kids life. Am I over reacting how would you react?

No. I'd be mad she's used a picture without consent and airing personal information

I'd be pretty pissed. I think there's a way you can report it to have her take the picture down

@kambam, @cierra13, @spookylyn, thank you ladies. I didn’t think I was over reacting but my mil said I was. I don’t even know how she got the photo I have her blocked so she can’t see it. But I will look into reporting her. It just hurts the fact she is trying to use pictures of my daughter to get into my life with her comments.

I'd be just as mad! I have a great relationship with my mom and she knows to ask before she posts a picture of my daughter publicly. My MIL and I had a similar issue when my daughter was younger because she wouldn't come visit her yet would take pictures of her that I posted and put them up talking about how my daughter is her world and this and that, meanwhile at that time she had never even met her by her own choice. I'd get the picture(s) removed and tell her she needs to stop and that's that.
