Tentatively the surgery has gone well for my little "grandson". He's had 2 major opps which lasted 8 hours in total. He'll be kept asleep for 5 days to make sure there's no leaks in the connections they've made. It was so relieving to hear that news but right now I have butterflies in my tummy as my niece, baby's mum is finally with baby. She's meeting him for the 3rd time right now!

So glad the surgery has gone well!
It's not the same but I know what it's like having complications at birth.... hopefully now mummy and baby can get rest and look forward to long happy lives together.
Surgery is amazing and I'm sure everything will be on the up from now xx

@mrsmowmow actually they did kind of. In her first 12 week scan there was something they couldn't explain, a sort of black spot in the "ovaries" area. They didn't give her any explanation and a few scans later it seemed to get smaller and disappear. That was the only sign they had.
