They make their own vit k by day 11 or something. It also passes the placenta so if you've been eating well, your baby got it. I'd recommend the oral dose if you just can't pass it up .
Some sources say vitamin k doesn’t pass through the placenta while others say it does..without the vitamin k shot babies are at risk for bleeding in the brain. I haven’t had my baby yet but I def plan on her getting the vitamin k shot

Yes but it gives them jaundice 😒 I regret it 🙈

My second got her vit k and didn’t get jaundice. Doesn’t always happen 🤷🏽♀️
