My doctors office just called to reschedule my last appointment before my due date. Apparently my doctor is going to be out of the office the entire week that I’m due 😭
I used a group of midwives when I had my son, so I didn’t know which of the 8 midwives would be on call the day I had him. I chose to go with a doctor this time so that I knew who was going to be there and now it’s going to be some random doctor that’s on call.

I am definitely going to ask on Monday. I just saw her yesterday and she didn’t mention anything about being out of town for my due date.
She said said ‘I’ll see you next week for your appointment or sooner is baby shows up’
I think she is hoping that I am early so it’s not over her break

My doc wasnt there for my first labor. She left town the weekend before my scheduled Csection. I had another doctor deliver and he was absolutely incredible. She was there the second time cause i didnt go into labor naturally and made it to the day. Dont worry. Itll work out, things always work out

My Ob I had with all four kids did not deliver any of my kids. It was always one of them on call.
