It could be either. If your baby is on the smaller side they will still fit the 0-3 clothes. If theyre tall or on the bigger side they will already be on 3-6 months. My girls are really tall because my hubby is 6'1 and im 5'8. They always wear clothes that are bigger. Athena is 2 years old but will wear 3t sizes easily in some clothes. Shes always been ahead in clothing, at 3 months she was at 6m clothing, at 6 she was at 9 and so on

@nomli, thanks! I know the sizing doesn’t mean much, I’m just organizing his clothes and putting them away so I wanted to make sure I put them with the right size!
I always go by 0-3. My son is small and almost finally out of newborn and there’s no way he will fit in 3 month so He will wear his 0-3. Who knows when he will fit in 3 months

I held my daughter's clothes up for comparison and 0-3 is the same size as 3 months. 3-6 is the same size as 6 months.

I only bought 2 newborn outfits because I hear they grow fast so stick to 0-3 or 3 months. They can fit in those till 12 lbs
