Please no bashing; Just a simple question which may end up being a stupid one. I know these after market inserts aren't safe to use in carseats, but is it okay to use in her swing like this? (I put the swing straps through it, so its not laying loose under her) If not I will go back to using blankets, just wanted to ask!

I think it would be. The car seat reason is simply that they aren't crash tested with them added in and they are afraid the car seat would function differently with it on. A swing doesn't have the risk of high impact crashes so it should be fine! Also, she is looking pretty cute and cozy!

@mct thanks! And she really is! She loves her swing and sleeps so well in it, i just wish it was safe to let her sleep in it longer than for naps! She would sleep so much better than in her bassinet at night lol oh well! A cranky safe baby is better than alternative possibilities 💜

@mct, I think the other reason to not use them with a car seat is because they aren’t fire resistant.
