When you call on Friday it will tell you if you have to report Monday, or to just call that number again Monday night for Tuesday. I’ve had it where I called once, and I was excused for the whole week. Another time, I had to call every single night for a week.
There should be more directions and a form attached to send in if you’re requesting to be exempt. You are subject to jury summons at least every two years.

I just got out of jury duty for being ptegnant and having a 7 year old to care for, they excused me
