Oh my goodness I’m so excited. We are officially house hunting!! We are going to see 2 houses today!!! Wish us luck. I’m so ready to get out of our townhome and into a nice big single family home. Somewhere with a large backyard for a big play set for the boys!! And room to run around outside. Can’t wait for later today to see these houses!!!
@mb2424, thanks!! I’m so excited to get this process going!!! I’ve been over the townhome life for a while now. I really just want an extra bedroom for when my mil sleeps over and a little office space for my dh. He works from home a lot so it would be nice for him to have a place designated for working at home!!

Ugh it was a bust!! The houses looked great on paper but not in person. We have our Realtor working hard for us lol!! We will continue looking for our forever home!! It sucked because one of the houses had a really nice pool but needed a lot of work done inside. Mainly cosmetic but we don’t want to do any work. So now we are going to be looking for new construction also
@ss3mom, I understand that struggle. I swear we looked at like 40 houses before we found ours. A lot of them were either out dated or had water damage.
Dont give up. It's only the first few houses. We looked at like 10...and we ended up buying the first one we saw lol....we just knew it was the one.
@bigmama18md, @hakunamatata09, yea we are not discouraged. We will keep looking. This was our first time out actually looking in person and not just online. So we will keep up the search. I’m sure we are going to be looking for a while because this will be our forever home. We have the ability to be patient. Even though I’d like to get out of this townhome like tomorrow lol. We are going to wait for the perfect house for us!! The search is still on!! I’ll keep u all posted
@ss3mom I'm so happy for you sse!!! Hope you guys find your dream home. Remember to look at the big picture. Roof. Windows, electric. Water. Heater..all the major stuff and if those are in great condition than you're good. Painting floors and doors can be replaced, painted and much cheaper
@hakunamatata09, yes I know!! And the good thing is that we don’t have to sell our house to buy one!! So there’s really no rush. It’s just that I’d like to have a nice big yard for the boys to run around in!!

Check out your neighbors at night like a Friday night of a potential house. I wish we did cuz they are hooligans who keep me up.
@kbbaybee16 we did this lol. Our agent brought this up...and we drove by a few times at night...I love my neighborhood..and a few of my neighbors. We got lucky.
@kbbaybee16, @hakunamatata09, we are really looking to be farther away from neighbors. We don’t want any close neighbors. There’s a lot of wooded areas around us that we really want to get in.
@hakunamatata09, your lucky we got the worst neighbors. Up all hours of the night. Revving loud trucks. Getting crap stolen. And they have like 15 cats they don’t take care of and 99% sure they are drug dealers 🙄
@ss3mom that's our next home lol. Somewhere were our neighbors are like 1 mile apart lol. We want land..hopefully in the next 5 years or so 🤞🤞🤞🤞
