I called the phone number and stated I couldn’t make it because I had a _ month old daughter. Then faxed over a copy of her birth certificate with a letter stating the information they requested and that was it.
I've been summoned for jury duty several times. They are probably going to give you a date to show up at the courthouse. You will end up in a room with lots of other people who were summoned. They usually call big groups in the courtroom so that the lawyers can present their case and ask you questions.
I've never actually served...the first time, I was living in a small town. Apparently, being friends with the prosecutor is frowned upon. The second time, the suspect skipped town so the case was dismissed. The third time, it was a case of a sex offender who didn't register. I asked what they needed a jury for...either he did what he was supposed to or he didn't. It seemed pretty cut and dry to me. They told me to go home 🤷

It says begin calling after 5pm on Fri Aug.10 ,Soo do i go to the court and call there OR call from my house???
